PCIM is the leading international trade fair for power electronics, intelligent drive technology, renewable energies and energy management. Fraunhofer IAF participates in both the conference and the exhibition. Researchers will present their latest scientific activities in the field of GaN-based power electronics for application areas such as communication, mobility or sensor technology and will be available for personal exchange on current and future developments.

Fraunhofer IAF invites students from different disciplines to the Students' Day 2025. We inform about our research activities, give a tour through our laboratories and show what opportunities students have with us.

Visit us at Laser World of Photonics and the parallel World of Quantum 2025 in Munich from June 24 to 27. At our booths at Laser World of Photonics and World of Quantum, we will present our research and development activities in the field of III-V optoelectronics along the semiconductor value chain as well as in quantum sensing and quantum computing.

The European Microwave Week 2025 takes place from September 21 to 26 in Utrecht, Netherlands. The event combining three conferences and one exhibition offers the opportunity to discuss the latest developments in microwave technologies. At the trade fair, Fraunhofer IAF will present integrated circuits for high frequencies, terahertz technologies as well as millimeter wave circuits and modules that can be used, among other things, for the mobile radio generation after 5G and for high-precision distance measurement.

Visit our booth at the trade fair in Stuttgart and get to know the multifaceted quantum activities and players in Baden-Württemberg. Quantum Effects, the trade fair and conference for quantum technologies, takes place on October 7 and 8, 2025, in Stuttgart.
