Mithilfe eines hochauflösenden Radarsystems kann die Zusammenarbeit von Mensch und Roboter sicherer werden.

Based on its millimeter wave radar technology, Fraunhofer IAF develops components suitable for the integration into a higher-level safety system. Multiple radar sensors attached to a robotic arm monitor the environment, detect intrusions into the safety zone and permit situation-dependent reactions.
