Infrared lasers for flexible use

The Fraunhofer IAF specializes in the research and development of semiconductor lasers and laser modules emitting in the infrared spectral region. We provide our customers with novel semiconductor disk lasers (SDL: 1,9 – 2,8 μm and 1 – 10 W) as well as quantum cascade lasers (QCL: 4 – 11 μm and 0,1 –  >1 W). Optimized for a wide range of applications, we realize power effciency and compact modules and individually tailored multi-band laser systems.
