For military and commercial applications in the frequency range between 30 GHz and 0.5 THz, we develop a broad variety of millimeter-wave monolithic integrated circuits (MMICs) based on III-V compound semiconductors using advanced metamorphic high electron mobility transistor (MHEMT) technology.

For 100 Gbit/s data transmission, we also develop a variety of high-speed mixed-signal ICs using advanced InP-based double heterojunction bipolar transistor (DHBT) technology.

Our MMICs and mixed-signal ICs combine high functionality with small chip size and cost-effective production. We possess the complete MMIC and mixed-signal IC technology chain. We offer fast and flexible solutions to our customers and support them with design, characterization, and small volume production.

Applications are:

  • High-resolution active (radar) and passive (radiometer) imaging systems for:
    - contraband detection of weapons or explosives
    - reconnaissance
    - avionics
    - collision avoidance
    - space and earth observation
  • Broadband and space communication
  • Industrial sensors
  • Wireless communication
